What requirements does building trust place on the pursuit of science?

This panel is being organized in collaboration with the GYA Open Science Working Group. The session will begin by addressing the question or how or whether open science can foster trust in science, with contributions from speakers Elizabeth Marincola and Abdullah Shams Bin Tariq, followed by audience Q&A.

The second half of the panel will discuss Open Research Europe (ORE) as a case study in open science. Liz Allen will provide an introduction to ORE, which will lead into a “debate” with speakers Victoria Tsoukala and David Fernandez Rivas representing opponent and proponent perspectives. There will be time for Q&A at the end of the session.
